THE IMPORTANCE OF WATER
Water is the most wide-spread on our planet and one of the most enigmatic
substances in nature. Along with the sunlight, water possesses an
immense recreational force. Water is the base of all forms of life,
without it planet Earth would turn into a lifeless desert. No wonder
that the Man - the most sophisticated creature on our planet - by 70%
consists of water.
Natural water can be divided into surface water (rivers, lakes),
subterranean water (aquifers, artesian wells, etc.),sea water,
and atmospheric precipitation (rain, fog, snow). Mineral salts,
organic substances, gases, colloids, plankton, bacteria, and viruses
abound in water. Human activities result in significant amounts of waste
water dumped into natural water reservoirs. Waste water contains acids,
alkalines, organic substances, metals and even radioactive materials.
Natural water is therefore a complex, incessantly changing system that
contains mineral and organic matter in suspended, colloid and dissolved
forms, and also gases.
The process of metabolism in a human body produces large quantities of
toxins. Without water, our system absorbs these harmful substances,
which results in many negative health effects. That's why we often say
that "instead of medicine, one should drink clean water".
There are several principal types of pollutants that contaminate
drinking water:
- MICROORGANISMS,
- NON-ORGANIC MINERALS AND METALS,
- ORGANIC CHEMICALS,
- RADIOACTIVE SUBSTANCES.

We categorize microorganisms as harmful bacteria, viruses, and parasites.
The tap water normally does not contain a dangerous concentration of
bacteria because they are killed by adding chloride to the water supply
systems. However, this method of water treatment is far from being
entirely safe, because chloride has a tendency to form cancerogenes when
entering into a fusion reaction with organic chemicals dissolved in water.
Water cancerogenes greatly increase the risk of cancer in humans. Other
sources of water pollutants are chemicals used for water treatment, human
negligence, water treatment process technological deficiencies, scaling
of heating supply systems, corrosion of the water pipelines etc.
Accelerated heating supply and air-conditioning systems wear and tear,
along with other technological systems breakdowns, pre-mature aging of
human body and even death of humans can be directly traced to the harmful
habits of USING SUBSTANDARD WATER for a long time.
That is why we should stop using untreated water as soon as possible.
